ST. PAUL FOOD PANTRY

The St. Paul Food Pantry ministry has serviced those in need on Syracuse’s Near West Side for over twenty years through the loving guidance of our very own Judy Eyer!  The pantry is located in Brown Memorial United Methodist Church at 22 Davis Street. Hours are Tuesday evenings from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm and Wednesday & Friday mornings from 10am – Noon. There is always a need for volunteers to pack bags, either routinely or once in a while.

This links to a very interesting article about the outreach activities being done Brown Memorial United Methodist Church and St. Paul’s Food Pantry. Many thanks to the members and friends of Luther Memorial  for your support all these many years.

FOOD OF THE MONTH CLUB

IN SUPPORT OF ST. PAUL’S FOOD PANTRY

In 2011, we started the Food of the Month Club. It’s a way of targeting specific food items to bring in year around. There are NO forms to fill out and membership is FREE— and best of all, it supports the St. Paul’s Pantry located at Brown Memorial United Methodist Church.

Here is how it works: Each month we will advertise a “Food of the Month” item. We invite you to buy extra of that particular item when you are at the market. Bring the item(s) in at anytime during the month (we will have a place downstairs to place your items). Then stop for a moment and reflect on your many blessings and your ability to help Judy feed a local family that week! Of course, you can bring ANYTHING at ANYTIME!

Truth is, Luther Memorial has been supporting this ministry for over two decades. It’s just one way we joyously say:images
