Thanks for stopping by! Here's a peek of our beautiful sanctuary, with multi-tasker Pastor Yost getting in his 10,000 steps while enthusiastically sharing his message.
Be our Guest! If you are reading this, you just might be considering a Sunday morning or Wednesday evening worship service with us. Whenever that may be, we want you to feel very comfortable, so here's what you might expect:
Sunday Morning 9am Services are what some would call 'traditional', and last about an hour. There is a sermon, usually 3 hymns, Bible readings, and time for reflection and prayers. Communion is offered honoring dietary considerations. A bulletin neatly lists the flow of the service and hymnals facilitate our joyful noise! We each participate at our own level of comfort. Casual attire is the norm. You likely will see children of all ages with friends or family. Services start on time with announcements.
Wednesday Evening Services start at 7pm and last just about 30 minutes. There are usually no hymns; a printed guide to the service is provided. Pastor shares a message based upon scripture and Communion is offered. Our regular attendees really look forward to this midweek 'recharge' in their lives. If you've been seeking a relaxed, uncrowded setting for worship and prayer, this mid-week service just may be what you're looking for.
As guests of our members, you are not expected to contribute an offering when visiting at any service. Also note that services are offered live and uploaded to YouTube for later enjoyment.
Luther Memorial is handicap accessible via the South Bay Road back parking lot entrance. Enter through the double doors and turn left to the social hall to access the (usher-operated) elevator or stairs to the sanctuary (there are signs everywhere). There is convenient seating for those more comfortable staying seated in a wheelchair during any service. We are air-conditioned in the summer months.
