Lutheran World Hunger
“In the evening, quails came up and covered the camp; and in the morning there was a layer of dew around the camp… ‘What is it?’ they asked, for they did not know what it was. Moses said to them, ‘It is the bread that the Lord has given to you to eat.’ ” Exodus 16.13,15
The ELCA, through Lutheran World Hunger (LWH), supports people who live with chronic hunger and poverty. Lutheran World Hunger works both in our own communities and around the world through relief, development, education and advocacy. This means food or seeds or water wells, education, or nutrition information as it is needed. With operating expenses of only 8%, LWH puts your donations to good work. Support of this work can be done through Luther Memorial or directly through the ELCA web site: www.elca.org.
